Why do some people succeed at their careers and why do others fail?
It’s pretty simple. You either don’t know what to do or you don’t do what you know you’re supposed to do – a deficiency of knowledge or a deficiency of execution.
What part do you need to work on to ensure your personal growth and success?
I know this doesn’t have anything to do with Ohio Insurance, but this simple video by Adam DeGraide at Astonish Results sums it up pretty good.

Theodore Roosevelt said this during a famous speech in Paris on April 13, 1910.

I’ve always loved that quote. Someone gave it to me when I started to work at Preferred Insurance Center in the Ohio insurance market. I think he was overly pessimistic, but I love the quote.

Social Networking Engineer and Marketing Internship

Department: Marketing (also Communications, English/Creative Writing, Business)
Reports To: Dan Muhlenkamp, John Boeke and Roger Rindler
Overall Responsibilities: Creating and managing content on social media accounts including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Digg, WordPress

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Work with all aspects of the agency to effectively market and promote agency and industry news/success stories
To educate the modern consumer about the Independent Agency
To creatively find new outlets and opportunities for the agency to advertize and promote online
Consistent and professional in all communications
Contribute daily on blog sites

Qualifications:

Facebook is a tool for thieves when you’re on vacation!

I like to take vacations from Preferred Insurance Center and share them on Facebook just like most of you, but maybe we should be careful. Thieves are using Facebook to find out when you’re gone. Your Ohio Homeowner Insurance will cover the loss, but there are some things that are irreplaceable. At Preferred Insurance Center, we want you to share your vacation photos with us on Facebook, but maybe you shouldn’t share them with everyone.

We at Preferred Insurance Center want to extend our condolences and prayers for everyone involved in last weeks tragedies. Auto Insurance just can’t come close to replacing what was lost.

Accidents will always happen and OH insurance agencies can help with repairs and expenses, but this is such a tragedy we are all at a loss for what to do or say.

Great Service When It Wasn’t Even Our Claim!!

We at Preferred Insurance Center strive to just do what’s right. Sometimes that means helping someone settle a claim that isn’t even with us. Josh and Rachel Hemmelgarn left us a message on our website that says it better than we ever could.

“Preferred Insurance Center is wonderful! Josh was involved in an accident, and even though we didn’t have a claim on our insurance, they helped us to understand what we needed to do to make sure we received what we are entitled to from the other party! They have helped us in the past save money, by lowering our premium for the same coverage! Even though other companies may advertise “lower premiums,” we would NEVER give up the awesome customer service! Thank you for all of your help!”

No Ohio auto insurance laws don’t require that kind of service and most Ohio insurance agency employees would have told them to just call the other adjuster. But not at Preferred Insurance Center.
